Check deposit history
- Open Binance and go to your wallet or assets.
- Open the transaction or deposit history and filter for USDT.
- A credited deposit shows the network, amount, status and transaction ID.
- If it is missing, ask the sender for the transaction ID.
Check a transaction ID that is not credited
- Open the explorer for the network the sender used: Tronscan, Etherscan or BscScan.
- Paste the ID. Check the token contract, the “to” address (your Binance deposit address for that network) and the status.
- If the contract is not official, Binance will never credit it. If the address is wrong, the sender paid someone else.
Binance Pay and internal transfers
Binance Pay and transfers between Binance users happen off-chain, inside Binance. Check Pay history in your own app. A screenshot of a Binance Pay receipt is not proof. Fake Binance screenshots.
The Binance Web3 wallet
The Web3 wallet inside the Binance app is a self-custody wallet, separate from your exchange balance. Like any wallet, it can display copy tokens. A balance there is not a Binance deposit. Check contracts as in other wallets.

Four situations and where to look
| Situation | Where to check in Binance |
|---|---|
| Someone withdrew USDT to your Binance deposit address | Deposit history, then the hash on the explorer |
| Someone paid you with Binance Pay | Pay history |
| A P2P buyer says they paid | Your bank or payment app, then the order |
| USDT appeared in the Binance Web3 wallet | Token details: contract address |
How a deposit appears
-
01 On chain
- Explorer
- success
- Binance
- not yet
-
02 Confirmations
- Binance
- pending, counting
-
03 Credited
- Deposit history
- USDT, network, amount
The network must match
Binance shows a different deposit address or network label for each supported network. If the sender used a network you did not select, the deposit may not appear where you expect, and in some cases needs a support request. Always tell the sender the exact network, and check it in the hash.
When to contact support
If the hash shows real USDT, from the official contract, to your Binance address, confirmed, and it is still not credited after some time, contact Binance support from inside the app with the hash. If the hash shows a different contract, there is nothing for support to credit.
Scams around this check
- Fake “Binance support” in Telegram offering to credit a pending flash deposit for a fee.
- Emails claiming a deposit is on hold for AML review. Fake Binance emails.
- Screenshots of a “completed” withdrawal. Fake Binance screenshots.
How to check flash USDT in the Binance app, step by step
To check flash USDT in the Binance app, look in your own account records, never at a screenshot or a link from the sender.
- Open the Binance app from your phone’s home screen, not from a link.
- Go to your wallet overview, then to the transaction or deposit history.
- Filter for USDT deposits and find the one you expect.
- Check the network shown (TRC20, ERC20 or BEP20) and the status.
- Check that your USDT balance actually increased by that amount.
If there is no deposit record and no balance change, you have not received USDT on Binance, whatever the sender says.
Binance USDT received: what a real deposit looks like
A real deposit of Binance USDT received from outside shows several things together. If any are missing, investigate before you act.
| Field | Real deposit | Warning sign |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit history entry | Present, with amount and network | Missing |
| Status | Completed, after confirmations | Pending for a long time, or not shown |
| Transaction ID | Opens on the public explorer for that network | Not found, or shows a different token |
| Balance | Increased by the deposit amount | Unchanged |
For deposits that are slow, see USDT pending transactions and USDT not showing.
Fake USDT Binance claims and what to check
Fake USDT Binance claims usually come with pressure to act before you check. Each claim has a matching check.
- “I sent it, here is the screenshot”: check deposit history. See fake Binance screenshots.
- “Binance is holding it for review, pay to release”: Binance does not charge senders’ counterparties to release deposits.
- “Check your email, Binance confirmed it”: check inside the app. Emails can be faked; see fake Binance emails.
- “I used Binance Pay”: Binance Pay transfers appear in your Pay history inside the app, not only as a receipt image.
Binance account vs Binance Web3 wallet
The Binance app includes two kinds of wallets, and flash USDT behaves differently in each.
| Exchange account | Web3 wallet | |
|---|---|---|
| Who holds the keys | Binance | You |
| Can a copy token appear? | No, it is not credited | Yes, like any self custody wallet |
| How to check | Deposit history and balance | Token contract address |
If a “USDT” balance shows in your Web3 wallet, open the token and compare its contract with the official addresses. A copy token will not match.
Before releasing anything on Binance P2P
- Release only when the order shows the buyer’s payment and you see it in your own bank or payment app.
- Never accept payment outside the order, including direct USDT transfers.
- Ignore “Binance support” messages inside the trade chat that tell you to release.
- Appeal through the order if anything is unclear.

Questions about checking USDT on Binance

Either the token is a copy, the network does not match, or the deposit is still confirming. Check the token contract first.
Can I ask Binance support to confirm a deposit?
Yes, through the support chat inside the app. Never use phone numbers from search results.
