Step-by-step takedowns: getting flash USDT listings removed.
Tether
Tether freezes addresses in response to law enforcement. A report to the police or a national agency is how a case reaches that stage. How Tether freezes work.
Beware after reporting
Fake agencies, fake lawyers and “recovery experts” contact people who have reported. Real agencies do not charge you. Recovery scams.

An evidence template
| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| Date and time of each payment | 4 Nov 2026, 21:14 local time |
| Network and token | TRON, USDT TRC20 |
| Your sending address | T… (your wallet) |
| Scammer’s receiving address | T… (copied from explorer) |
| Transaction hash | one per payment |
| Amount | in USDT and local currency |
| Where you met them | Telegram @handle, site URL |
| What was promised | one sentence |
Keep this in one document and paste it into every report. Consistency across reports helps investigators connect cases.
Keep the case numbers
Each report produces a reference number or confirmation email. Keep them. Exchanges and banks sometimes ask for a police reference before acting, and a later report can cite earlier ones.
If several people were scammed by the same seller
Each victim should file separately, citing the same addresses and handles. Many reports about one address carry more weight than one long report. Public posts warning others are useful too, as long as they do not include your own personal details.
USDT scam report: where each detail goes
A USDT scam report is usually sent to several places at once. Each one uses different details.
| Where | What they need most | What they can do |
|---|---|---|
| Police or national fraud service | Full story, transaction hashes, addresses, contacts | Investigate, request freezes, link cases |
| Your bank | Bank payments made to buy crypto | Possible recall, dispute or reimbursement review |
| Your exchange | Withdrawal hashes and the receiving address | Flag addresses, assist police |
| Platform where you met the scammer | Profile links and messages | Remove accounts and listings |
| Tether, via law enforcement | Addresses holding USDT | Freeze USDT at those addresses |
Binance P2P scam report steps
- Open the order and use the appeal option immediately.
- Upload your evidence: bank statements, chat, screenshots.
- Report the counterparty’s profile from the order page.
- If funds moved off platform, contact support through the app with hashes.
See Binance P2P scams and checking USDT on Binance.
Trust Wallet scam report steps
Trust Wallet is a self custody wallet, so the company cannot freeze or reverse transactions. A Trust Wallet scam report is still useful for flagging fake support accounts and malicious sites.
- Report fake Trust Wallet accounts on the social platform where they appear.
- Contact Trust Wallet through its official support site to report malicious dapps or tokens.
- For the funds themselves, report to the police with hashes and addresses.
See Trust Wallet scams.
Report crypto scam evidence: a simple file layout
Keep your evidence in one folder, named clearly. It makes every report faster and helps later if a case progresses.
- 01 summary: a one-page account with dates.
- 02 transactions: a list of hashes, networks, amounts and addresses.
- 03 bank: statements showing payments.
- 04 chats: exported conversations and screenshots.
- 05 contacts: usernames, numbers, websites.
- 06 case numbers: every reference number you receive.
After you report
- Expect calls or messages from fake recovery agents and fake officials. Ignore them.
- Never pay a fee to have your case processed or funds released.
- Keep your wallets secure; see seed phrase scams.
- If the scam is ongoing for others, report the listings too, via the listing report page.
Recovery offers are covered in crypto recovery scams.
