How to report a flash USDT seller and get listings taken down

Every listing removed is one fewer buyer. Most platforms act on clear reports. This is how to write one that gets action.

Wording that works

This listing sells counterfeit cryptocurrency (“flash USDT”), which cannot exist and is used to defraud buyers and merchants. It directs users to an off-site seller at [contact]. URL: [link].

What gets a report acted on

Trust and safety teams handle large volumes. A report gets action faster when it makes their decision easy:

  • Name the harm in one line. “Sells counterfeit cryptocurrency used to defraud buyers.”
  • Point to the evidence on the page. “The README lists prices and a Telegram contact for purchase.”
  • Choose the right category. Fraud or scam, not spam or copyright.
  • One listing per report, unless the form allows a list.

Mirrors and clones

Sellers publish the same listing on many accounts. When one goes, another appears. Search the listing’s title, the Telegram handle and the seller’s phone number to find copies, and report each one. Telegram handles in particular are worth searching across GitHub, GitLab, Gitea and blog platforms, because sellers reuse them.

Removing a page from a platform eventually removes it from search. Until then, Google’s spam report form lets you report pages that use spam tactics, including posts on trusted sites created to rank for scam terms. For phishing pages, report to Google Safe Browsing so browsers warn visitors.

Platform notes

PlatformNote
TelegramReports on bots and channels; @notoscam for scams specifically
GitHubReport on the repository; also report the user if they have many such repos
GitLab“Report abuse to administrator” on the project
GiteaEach instance has its own admins; gitea.com publishes an abuse contact
YouTubeReport the video and, for repeat channels, the channel
Company forumsFlag the post; moderators usually remove quickly

Do not engage

Do not message sellers to “expose” them, do not post your own contact details in replies, and do not buy anything to gather evidence. The listing itself is the evidence. If you lost money to one of these sellers, report them to the authorities too: where to report.

Report flash USDT seller accounts: a template

When you report a flash USDT seller, a short, factual message gets the best result. Moderators handle many reports, so make yours easy to act on.

This account advertises “flash USDT”, a fake version of the USDT stablecoin that cannot be spent or withdrawn. Buyers are asked to pay and then charged extra fees. Contact details in the post: [handle or number]. This is a financial scam.
  • Include the exact link to the post, profile or listing.
  • Name the report category: scam, fraud or spam.
  • Do not include your own wallet details.

Report Telegram scam bots and channels

To report a Telegram scam, use Telegram’s own reporting tools.

  1. Open the bot, channel or user profile.
  2. Use the menu to choose report, then select scam or spam.
  3. For channels, also report individual messages that advertise flash USDT.
  4. Leave the channel or block the bot afterwards.

Bots are covered in flash USDT sender bots and fake escrow in Telegram escrow bots.

Report fake crypto site pages

To report a fake crypto site, find out who hosts it and report it there, as well as to search engines and browser safety services.

Where to reportWhat it does
The hosting provider’s abuse contactCan take the site down
The domain registrar’s abuse contactCan suspend the domain
Browser safe browsing reportsCan show warnings to visitors
Search engine spam reportsCan remove or demote the page in results

Report GitLab spam and other code host listings

Code hosts like GitLab and GitHub have abuse reporting for spam and malware. Report repositories, snippets and profile pages that advertise flash USDT or offer downloads.

  • Use the report option on the repository or user profile.
  • Say whether it contains an executable, a Telegram link or a seller’s contact.
  • Report clones you find in the same search.

See flash USDT on GitHub.

Stay safe while reporting

  • Do not message sellers to “test” them. It adds you to their lists.
  • Do not download files to check them.
  • Use a separate account if you report often.
  • Expect fake “moderator” messages; real platforms do not ask for fees or personal data to process reports.
